Alan has been in love with photography since commandeering his dad's camera as a child. After ruling out careers as a professional skateboarder, snowboarder, climber, cyclist, or trampolinist, he has settled into the glamorous life of an architectural photographer.
Formally trained in architecture, Alan understands how to make it sing in photographs. He beautifully composes light, space and form to illustrate the concepts behind the designs. With bases in Bend Oregon, Portland Oregon and Seattle Washington, Alan is available for local and traveling assignments throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
To balance the commercial work, Alan usually has several personal projects underway. His personal work examines our relationship with the built and natural environment.
